Bismillah, walhamdulillah, wassolatu wassalam 'ala rasulillah...

Imam Shafie says that the greatest faqih is Imam Abu Hanifah. And this great faqih, Abu Hanifah says that the greatest fiqh, the biggest fiqh is tauhid, aqidah. If one has grasped this great fiqh, then the other aspects of fiqh will come easy.

Often neglected as a 'dry' and 'distant' science, aqidah, for those who understand and know what it really is.. for those who know their Lord, and love their Lord, is the science that they are most thirsty for.

There is much more that could and should be done by us. Those that came before memorized the Quran, they memorized ahadeeth, they memorized books.. these were given things. But today, we do not even memorize the Quran as much as we can, Allahumma ighfirlana zhunubana..

The class that was thought to be most technical became the most heart breaking class..
